Follow your instincts for they are true,
They are one of gods gifts, given toyou..
They keep you from harm, they show you the way
For without them, we would certainly stray..
Your instincts guide you when you have doubts,
They are the felt emotion within yourself,
You can't mistake them, for they show themselves well
And if you ignore them, time will tell
That you should have listened, and acted upon
what they were telling you, whether right or wrong..
From the time we were little to now that we're grown
*follow your instincts* was a lesson known
Whether we did, was up to us
and the lessons we learned were for a lifetime, but
as long as we don't repeat what went astray
we'll find that decisions get easier each day..
for we learn to listen and heed and act..
and belief it or not.. it has impact
on everything we do, everything we say
it can be what makes.. a good or bad day..
Listen to yourself, and listen strong
for the only person that will help you..
was you.. all along...
