To vision
   the coming glow
  the warming touch
   of a shapely snifter

To breathe
   the climbing is slow
  aching so much
   a temptation shifter

The need
   to feeling so

  ambitions to drown ...

   so let my Brandy flow!

There is nothing quite like
a glass of Brandy to heighten
        the soul ....

from the warming of a snifter,
the aroma of age as it breathes,
     to its anticipated hold.

To me, it is one of life's simple pleasures.

          It may dampen sorrows
            wash away tomorrows
but for me brings out the soul
            the essence of life's flow

Thank you, ladies, for your read!

ALSO ....

one of the local bartenders, whose name happens to be
Brandy, had her first "learning experience" at work with
a crowd of drunks the other night.

She stood her ground, fearfully, but maintained control
    the best she could.

Today is her birthday and I felt the need to express
    her job well done!
