Raining On The Roof

I awake on this cloudy morn
filled with pain
and
drenched in overwhelming anxiety.
My face streaked with tears
and a pain that does not cease.
Stains on my pillow,
stains on my heart,
it must be the rain on the roof,
clouding my vision so that I cannot see
beyond the torment of my broken memories.
As I gaze out my window
it seems as if the clouds
are dipping low and touching the ground.
These darkened clouds of gray
spreading sorrow with each slice
of
moistened texture of clear crystalline water
that carry the delicate shades
of a peaceful rainbow.
I stand in the pouring rain
hoping to receive solace
from this heartbreaking anguish.
But! Alas!
I stand and contemplate the paths of life
and
wonder why I have tears so many searing tears?
It must be the rain
Raining On The Roof.

PS. We have been having alot of rain and this is what I come up with.
Enjoy
Love Bon-Bon

Oh, and I did enjoy! I love the rain--I even enjoy the mellow, down feelings that prolonged rains can produce at times.

Well. gray skies and rainy days tend
to blue up MY days, too! The blue I
PREFER is the sky, peeking through some willowy, fluffy clouds!

Very well done, I enjoyed!

Always remember to keep them fluffed
but, never, EVER ruffle them!

no pain, no gain...putting it mildly, without this system presently hovering, that ol hurricane Fabian, might be hitting us here on the east coast with a stronger vengence and so my dear friend...as your words so elequently depict...there is reason for everything, despite the anxieties....love and hugs sent your way....
