Thorny Height

I climbed desires horny height
Blight my mind to feel delight
Aurora borealis spell
Took me straight down into hell

And I lived with it all these years
With the raging and the fears
And I gave to her my other cheek
And played the humble and the meek

There was a whisper came to me
From out the blue and o’er the sea
That I should bow beneath the whip
And wear the shroud of sackcloth slip

But now I weary of the task
And would remove the humble mask
To fly among the butterflies
And drink the nectar of a sigh

Do I do wrong this patience game
Or should I still remain the same.

Morning Sy!
Such wonderful words once more again this beautiful late summer morn.
I sure missed you while I was on vacation.
Tea's on....I'll pour!

Hmmm...it is a hard question to answer Sy. Then again..maybe not. What does "he" really feel deep in his heart? Thoughts to ponder this lovely morning. Butter tarts with your tea? hugs, Chris

Well Sy-babers...me thinks the answer to that question is whose dragon has the bigger bite? LOL
Can Randy handle the wrath of a womans thorns? lol

Me thinks you already know the answer to your couplets question...you've always known...thats why you can be humble and patient....

You learned a long time ago that just past the thorns of scorn lies the radiant rose, and its perfumed petals of sweet suppose makes it all worth the weeds of woe.

See how your wisdom garden grows?
(no wonder the butterflies sigh in your skies)

*ww*

When was the last time you felt high
Oh you were the best I've ever felt
Its so wrong not to be with you
Its getting harder to stay away.
