Picture by Jim Warren

* * *

I cherish the way you love me
In my life you're a crucial part
I'm counting the amount of steps
That it takes to reach your heart

I am lying here beside you
Upon the warm golden sand
Where we feel the gentle breeze
Making its way across the land

I'm listening inside a seashell
Where I hear words of love so true
I'm riding a wave of desire
Slowly making my way to you

I'm swimming in sensuality
As I cast my love out to sea
I haul in the biggest prize
And feel your waves caressing me

I'm throwing caution to the wind
Upon silken wings I'll fly
As I surrender to your love
In the land of a thousand sighs

* * *

"To love, is to receive
a glimpse into heaven"

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you
