Great splashes of herbies,
And woodies
Foaming verdant
At the feet of tall waves
That crash up,
Rolling mountain sides.
(After long retreat)
*
Cloud shades
Darken hill-tops
Of jade-swells
Rising up,
From pillows of olive
And emerald green.
*
Do these tints
(I question)
Why,
This tide ebbing art
Like wide stretching,
Seas, paint
(Romantic in spring)
Such beauty on my brain?....

I think you answered your own question with the beauty of this poem.
