Treasure Trove

I looked and saw a treasure trove
In the spirit of a rove and
It only spilled the edge in fluff
A thousand poems are not enough.

It’s the main sail I wish to bellow
Nice and taught and full and mellow
To split the waters froth and spray
To leap my ship upon its way

To race the skies fandango ply
And pace the speed to egos fly
To scent the shoal and walk in rhyme
The effervescent spill of time.

I grow to near the end of wait
And don’t believe eternals eight
I would to touch the dove above
And join with her this one of love.

It is my only wish of choice
Her whisper and her touch of voice

I read this several times, Seymour.  Just lovely.  I saw myself in your flight of verse.  What a lovely way to start this morning.  I think I will hold your images with me throughout the day.

Good morning, Sir Tumbleweed!

"It’s the main sail I wish to bellow
Nice and taught and full and mellow
To split the waters froth and spray
To leap my ship upon its way"

~ This is a captivating visual! You at the helm with sea spray in your face forging forth across the open seas...

A poem full of spirit and freedom! I thoroughly enjoyed this reading experience!

Lovin' hugs 'n appreciative smiles,
EA

Hello Seymour

This was indeed a real gem.

This is absolutely beautiful and I wish that all your wishes come true. For a man with the spirit of a stallion, the dance of a lover, and the fire of a song only deserves the best
