The final few
peeks and glimpses,
inevitably to shut
like a folded accordian,
though one long note will still sing
along with next season's chorus.

As i wait on the threshold
as the guard changes
bringing summer,
each time
pinning pink ribbons and somewhat wanning dreams
on the youngest of seasons.

And when the sunflowers smile
at August's end,
I stand amazed and confused
at the exitway,
never knowing it was already gone.

And the butterflies
will elope with the
exodus of loosening leaves,
airborn, in a shared sky,
setting sail on the same winds.

And here i am again, sillygirl,
in the middle of a field about to metamorphasize,
following the wind to see from where it all begins,
but it is already coming towards me again,
bringing its next trip around.

Michele~
This is beautiful writing~

'And the butterflies
will elope with the

airborn, in a shared sky,
setting sail on the same winds.

And here i am again, sillygirl,
in the middle of a field about to metamorphasize,

but it is already coming towards me again,
bringing its next trip around.'
