Tea

I drank a cup of spirits tea
To taste a touch of fantasy
And felt the liquid warm and hot
Down my throat and hit the spot

My heart went on a phantoms vie
A butterfly that flew the sky
Amongst the colored clouds of hue
That brought me wiles of seeing you

And there we spent the day above
Just holding hands and making love
And flew down to our sandy beach
Where aqua waters seep and leach

And in the evening came a chime
A chime of bells that stopped all time
And wrapped us in a breeze of swell
That carried us to Eden’s dwell

And there I drank the last of tea
And said goodbye to fantasy.

Most likely due to the extreme weather vagaries of this summer, we've had opportunities to watch several different species of butterflies and birds this year...

so perhaps I saw your butterfly, too, Sy...
I know she's very special!

Good morning, Mr. T-Man!

Now that is what I would call Spirit Tea that feeds the soul! This delightful poem certainly quenched my thirst for a libation divine!
