I'd just like to say thank you to some very special people who helped me to reach this milestone at last! It's been a long journey, but you have all helped me find my way home... Every gypsy needs bright stars to be her compass, and you are mine... I thank you!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  Alone in thought, she wandered through the rooms collecting fragments of her broken life A faded picture showed the smile of little girl who one day grew to be a wife Another picture showed her pain, he took it as he told her he would leave that day To save herself, she closed him out She locked her heart And then she ran away… The next few years were spent in doing what she pleased with just herself to answer for She found that she could love herself for who she was no need for crutches anymore Still on the move, her gypsy mind was strong enough to keep all ties that bind at bay And warn her if she got too close So she had time To simply run away… There came a day, predestined by design and Fate for her to run into his life He owned the key, unlocked her heart, then took the hand of she who would become his wife No crystal ball is needed when two souls believe their gift of love is here to stay And something tells my gypsy heart That no more will I need To run away… Accept these small gifts from my gypsy heart ~~S~~ [This message has been edited by Sunnyone (08-31-2003 07:57 AM).] |

Every time I read your beautiful poetry, it's like the words echo the exact feelings in my heart. Tell you a little secret...this number 5000 is special to me in another way...that is the exact number of miles I had to fly from Alaska to England to finally be with my Music Maker!!!
