The buzz of your house, contained within bursting seams,
my name in the air, hung familiar and accepted
your mother loved to touch my hair, I don't know why~

sitting so close, ashtray shared
we would wind the fingers of our vacant hands together
sharing the look as your father would make you wince and me smile
countless times, taking me outside to watch how the sky never moves
but did my heart, and still does

never did I imagine, this would be my still earth
escaping never, the glint of stars, once envious
of how we gazed, so close, and them so far apart from one another
warmth of room, air so tight, if I could
I would breathe in every second passed
and exhale until I forget

rainfall has increased, yet my tears fall less frequent
cold upon feet reminds me of our beginning
the winter I felt no wind, nor rain
but the kiss of us warm upon my skin
these same keys, tapped words woven out of the rainbow
have become the grey sky, that was never dull, only a reminder of how you resembled every colour.

Instant karma's gonna get you.

This is stunning; particularly these lines
"if I could
I would breathe in every second passed
and exhale until I forget"

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Sweet, sweet Gem!

This sounds so much like a story that I would remember and try to tell, though probably not near as good as you my friend!

This was amazing!
