Illusion I passed illusion one fine day Swimming off a lovely cay Watching butterflies with fins And colored scales upon their skins. They passed before my very eye So quick I thought that they did fly Around sea fields of magic green That swayed to music of the scene. Some flew in schools of quick and spree And some that moseyed near to me I watched the scene of drift and seem That seemed to me was but a dream. But soon the sun had burned my skin And I turned back with stroke of fin And went inside to cool my hide And tell the glories to my bride. But honeymoons are not all sight I think they are for mostly night. |
