Repartee

In the lace of repartee
Lies a pace of subtlety
It flutters in and out the words
Like little curds or flying birds.

For the most part they float on bye
But once or twice they catch your eye
And when they do initiate
The mind will call for satiate

Symbols weaving given claim
And subtlety there clothe of game
And spirit is their mantle cloth
And simmer is their source of sloth

Smoldering in fires pique
Stabbing with a blade of meek
They eat away in undertow
Bludgeon you in phantoms blow

They are an under currents wend
A means of gaining subtle end

Loved this, phantoms is a strong word to me, for some odd reason.. this poem holds something.

Your symbolism and vocabulary in this is cooler than a mere moth has words for.
You wear a coat woven from cloth of way cool my oh so wise Poet.
Hope you and Randy have a relaxing long holiday weekend Stinky...
Weather allowing I may take a road trip over the weekend..so no worries if the moth is missing. I sent an Enote telling you the pic arrived..I hope you got it...emails have been somewhat unreliable of late...must be that randy worm virus LOL

love ya Sy-babes..
tell Issy I said hello

You're going to hear my voice in the morning calling your name ...
and know my love and my desperation were one and the same.
