Fulltime Killer

"Killing is easy.
Its harder to
put the memory
behind you."

It takes total concentration to do what I do.
It takes dedication to make sure the right
ones lay dead when I'm through.

A friend once said
"In our business
you're bound to rub
out someone you know."

A ruthless assassin can not ask for much.
The proper payment for professional services
rendered and the occasional joy of a gentle touch.
It seems a contradiction and I'll say this much,
the same hands that take a life away still
desire the grace of a gentle touch.

"The faster you
run from death the
closer you get."

Sometimes life requires a gentle touch,
even a killer knows this much.
For now the killing has only just begun,
which fulltime killer will be number one?
Death is not a gentle touch,
even a killer knows this much.

As for she, these are the words she said to me.

"I could talk to him,
and feel him.
He was real."

As they say.

"Everyone comes into
this world with a
role to play."

No one can take that away.

There are lots of old sayings.  One of my favorite is - Killing is easy; it's harder to find a good dry cleaner if you stand too close.

An interesting write.

May I copy this and hang it up in my working place, as just a peaceful reminder why we as
human beings must try to coexsist together without strangling each other?????  Enjoyed this piece!

James, I saw that movie and you have brought the unsettling characters of those two hired killers alive again, and I am not sure to a scardy cat like me if that is a good thing Wow, this is so different from you, and I was sure not expecting it!  Kind of chilling to be hearing it from the assassin's perspective.
