who shall corner the wind?

I will
   bend the breeze
bring it's cool to fevered brow
                   allowances of reverences
speaking inner needs
       from languages of yesteryears

it flickers...
   speaking of
    what isn't seen
the black within the flame
         envelopes
               holds
                   the secret to the light
        and takes over

the storm feeds itself
rippling in it's majesty
progressing
       blackening

       the head bows
layering self upon the self
build this wall
       and look for glint
               to spite the black
the hint
          of alchemy

the will of steel
beneath my disbelieving eye
do you doubt it's tempering rain?
flake the rock in reprimand
    the answer is miles beneath
chisel underneath the pain
     you sculpt with blurry eyes
yes, the sun will rise
            eroding gain
even as the vein explodes
the means to see will beckon
from hermit's lantern held on high
third eye
           reckons
watch the sparrow
on the rooftop
     cry
casting shadows
                     a winged thought
all alone
but for the drip of melting night
in the stillness
      at the peak before dawn
raindrops shiver down the wing
and drain into
the blank of cobblestone
         a glance reveals the walk
          smoothed to silk
     by calloused feet of patterns

then crouching
takes flight
     gathers
against the black wall

   we
      fly

arrow
    slung
                    (the sky is mine)
to pierce this void
a battlecry of glass
                     (cooing of a dove)
reflecting us fast
till a point is honed
           and light....
(glint of what we know is home)
is tomorrow coned
the serpent writhes
     in rise
and the mirror
    winks
  at smoke

How am I supposed to pick fave lines in this...good grief...the images are so awesome!!
Impromptu?  more like Spontaneous Euphoria

Stunning write of two who breathe as one.

You're going to hear my voice in the morning calling your name ...
and know my love and my desperation were one and the same.

Oh my...how did I miss this one?

This?...and the two of you?...gorgeous.
You simply melt together in perfection.

I am privileged to have found this today.

Love you both...
