Please don’t notice the marks on my wrist
Ignore them ok?
They are no risk

I have had some times
Where I have had to resort to such things
But never again
Will it happen I swear

Don’t you worry
Ill be safe
Just because the scars are still there
Doesn’t mean that Im still there

Im not like that anymore
Ive past that state
Im getting through
Theres nothing for you to be going through

Don’t try and pry
I can take care of myself
My life is my own
And if I take it away
It was my life
And it would be my problem

So I ask you again
Pay no attention to the marks on my wrist
Im beyond that I swear
So leave me be

I enjoyed your poem, but it came at a bad time (read the one i just posted). I am glad you have overcome your problems, it takes strength, courage, and will power. I have a few comments, please do not take offense.

Unfortunately, i just lost a friend yesterday. And I will tell you, it is much my problem now.
