Turn the light out
when you leave;
the evening reaches out
to grieve the many souls
I've scattered
over time upon the wind,
and such a subtle task
is best performed in gentle light.

Is there such a gentle light?  I've not found one yet - I may need to borrow yours, as it seems to work so well...

Thank you all for your comments.  I don't always get back to respond to the comments on my poetry, but I really always do read them and I appreciate the time it takes to pause and write a reply to a posting.

I apologize for the shortcomings of my schedule (or chaotic string).

Thank you again.  You all have made me feel very welcome here.

"to grieve the many souls

over time upon the wind"

Ohhh...I have such regret over those souls that I have scattered...

Subtle light....yes I agree...best not to see so much sometimes...

Loved it!
Susan
