Flirtatious Grammar

Dance floor strobes brought
her to life as her moves
screamed in hyperbole
from her mile long legs
revealed by micro mini
and dotted with exclamation point
by her staccato strappies

Curves accent marked her stop traffic,
knock ‘em through the windshield
style of speech

No metaphor could capture her
as she stood alone in a single neon
quote... “Sexuality”

And once the Saturday night hounds
finally roamed to her face,
they panted as tigress eyes
spoke in sultry question marks
implied

Pouty red lips seem to blow
kisses ‘round as rogues bought
her yet another round

Her crowning glory...
platinum strands
which rose in her dance
and fell in form
when the music stopped

We are the best of friends
she and I,
sharing our soul secrets
with the loosening of beer
bottles

She loves to flaunt it and
teach the language of tigress,
always trying to coax the animal
from me

Yet, I could never sway my hips
in the direction of every male
in the room as she did

But with some rules
of her temptress
talk, I enchanted the eye
of a few wannabe princes,
revealed later
to be frogs

And so it seems
for now
I am content
as her protege while
she forever remains
the master
of flirtatious grammar

And who said
Disco was Dead?

I do think
you breathed life
into a way of walk
once again!

Very good, Patricia!

Very cute... And the good news is - She can't handle them all at once - There must be some extras floating about in the tailspin... Being the protege has its advantages too...

nicely done... you paint an image of her that is physical and at the same time one of a mind set. Her perception being her reality while yours seems a bit at odds but not totally unable to understand and even desire in some way to share hers.
