Trail of trials, tribulation tossed into the winds
of change, of moments past and yet to be.
Lo, but to have the eyes of future tense,
that I might see the journey, that I might
know the wanderer’s mile as I walk upon
the shifting sands of my own history,
as destiny whispers.

Lift the bones of aged, carry the burdened
soul.Take tomorrow as today, with
courage, as the grist of the mill of life
grinds slowly.

Each breath cautiously expelled, fearing
that the halt might bring the darkness
of life passing. Each step taken, as sands
shift and sift beneath the barren feet.

Beyond the flowing dune, beneath the
stars shimmering on a moonless night,
an oasis lies in wait.Drink of the cool
waters, taste the wine of life. For
beyond the dunes of tomorrow lie
the grandeur of life anew....as the
cast die of days past is covered
beneath the sands of time..

Barry, gosh, you took the thoughts right out of mind and made a beautiful poem. You have no idea how wished for this in the past couple of months...to know the future...to know which way to go at the intersection.

You are so awesome and amazing!

Quite introspective my friend...
Something about the dunes that is timelessness itself.  As always, well done.

Barry

Under the sand, so many things can be found or covered...wind makes a mark across the top, so pretty, then tomorrow change, just is.  Made me think, you did!  Thanks and hugs!

Although I enjoyed the write, as I always enjoy your posts, I don't want to even think of you wandering off these blue pages!

Sigh, it's good to read you again, Barry.
