I see it in her face, annoyed, yet sympathetic
whilst she watches me talking, probably not listening

She hates the bitter i wear emblazoned across my words
and the hopeless face that turns away to kissing in the street

I once told her, what she now wants to tell me;

love exists, is worth every bump and scratch
it WILL find you
but fails to remind me

Perhaps because she knows what I live
is yet to come for her

and?
because she is adamant she will never find it

The way she knows me so well, dropping me
outside the well lit home I dwell

another normal day, nothing new, no major drama

still she asks;

Will you cry? when you get in?

"No" lying and truth telling at the same time

I never stop

crying

inside

.

.

Instant karma's gonna get you.

Wow I wonder how many people this echoes through in their lives. WOW..this choked me up. You know how to put the words out there that go right for the juggler...well I guess that's a bit morbid, but I'm sure you know what I mean. Painful write.

OMG!  Those words reached deep inside my heart and pulled the strings that hold it in place.  I don't know the exact meaning for you my sweet friend, but for me, I wish that I had been given the chance to read this in another time and place.  It would have answered many questions for me.

This one takes a seat in the library!

Absolutely beautiful!

You got a tear from me (though I admit i'm easy prey)

What stood out to me are those last few lines, they were beautiful and POWERful, it was like the majority of the piece was a string and at the end was the hook!

Mark this one down as another excellent poem from your pen...
