A Night Like This

Into a starry night like this
In unintended swells of fire
I soared the rim of spirit’s bliss

A pure and fragile synthesis
Two tender hearts in youth retired
Into a starry night like this

In undertows of lingering kiss
With heart unveiled of its attire
I soared the rim of spirit’s bliss

Into love’s strange and deep abyss
Where spawn the seeds of life’s desire
Into a starry night like this

Life suddenly erased the myths
As to itself it now aspired
And soared the rim of spirit’s bliss

In silent joy I reminisce
Of vibrant love that years expire
Into a starry night like this
I soared the rim of spirit’s bliss
