We Stand

We stand in shadows of the past
With clouds of future over cast
And hope the past could only last
But know the future and its fast

I often walk the past in time
In the fragrance of a rhyme
Call upon a phantoms dwell
And dip into its wile and well

To me the better part of glean
With only lovely as the scene
And I am happy with the dream
For it is pleasant in the seem

And this I do more often now
It is to me my sacred cow
My fantasies of happy nights
My Randy and his happy flights

And thus I am a butterfly
With fields of dreams at every sigh

Somehow, the ground was more sound then...  I think I know what you mean.  A great relate.

Oh, my Dear Sweet Sonneteer! I have been saving so much of your fine poetry, that I feel I should be paying you for such a privilege! A book of sonnets by Seymour Tabin would be a best seller!

Love ya!

==================================

When Randy's happy...we're all happy
when Sy sighs the sigh of a contented butterfly...
we're all flying high.

love your rhyme scheme dreams Sy-babes...
love the poet too

You're going to hear my voice in the morning calling your name ...
and know my love and my desperation were one and the same.
