I’d like to whack a hacker
thump some genius nerdy brains
I’d simply call it payback time
for driving me insane
Just once I’d like to meet the folks
who thought up ‘Blaster Worm’
But most of all, I’d love to see them squirm!

They really are ingenious
how they went right to the source
And bypassed all protections
hitting hard with worldwide force
Their worm slid into Microsoft
and knocked my system down
Thank goodness ‘puter doctors live in town!

Just once to whack a hacker
would be ultimate revenge
And maybe give them second thoughts
on their destructive binge
Alas, I’m just a poet
not an expert at machines
So, for now, they’re safe
I’ll whack them in my dreams!

Wow, so much Sun in here that I hesitate to bring my shady self inside....

I didn't get that one, but I know folks who did, and ended up with needless expenses so some bright fool could congratulate himself for being a jerk. Always easier and oh-so-satisfying to tear something down, than to build anything worthwhile.....

I'm glad it brought a good poem out of you -- at least there's some gain!

How stupid this all is, but a fun poem, anyway.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sunnyone, it is frustrating! I had the LuvSan virus and couldn't get on Passions for two days with the computer failing to re-boot, then finally I had it on long enough to download the patch! (sigh) Time for those worms to go bye-bye, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sunnyone, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Come on in Ratleader and bring the pack with you!!!  I just wish I could shed some light on one of these idiot hackers at work...catch them in the act.  Oh, yes, destruction is much more fun, and there is some kind of sick mind who hurts innocent people in the process.  Well, Sir Rat, I thank you for braving the sun, and appreciate your reply!!  ~S~

Hi Sandra, and yeah, it really is stupid, huh?  As huge as Microsoft is, you'd think they'd have an indestructable guard of some kind in place.  Really makes you wonder....and thank you, too....~S~

Hi Noah, and thank you for being here!! I really missed Passions, as this machine was sitting in a tech-shop for a week.  Don't realize how much you rely on machines until they break, eh?  ~S~
