The Songs of the Seasons

The seasons sing to you
The songs of your heart

For the same breeze that is bitter
In your despair
Is the very wind
That lifts your spirit
To dance in its laughter

In the darkest storm of winter
You may see only splendor,
And in the balm of spring
Your eye may remember only
Those blossoms that wither

You behold nature in different ways
According the music
Of the day
Therefore in your sadness
Seek to allow the
Beauty of the earth to comfort you,
And do not dwell on
The withering rose

But rather in the golden sky
Of sunset
That illuminates the horizon
Of your tomorrow
And in the pink dawning sun
That rises from
The joys of yesterday

Your tear of sadness also bears
Your joyful memories
And your tears of laughter also
swell from your sorrow
Let them mix and mingle
And swirl together
In the wells of your spirit

As the seasons sing to you
The songs of your heart
