Thank You, Poet

The sun has tapped my shoulder with a morning freshly born
Perhaps it’s just the way soft purple glow of early morn
Has burst into a dreaming eye and stripped me to the skin
Uncovering what dark of night has harbored deep within

My pillow is life’s bosom where I lean my heart to weep
My coverlet are twining arms that rock my pain to sleep
And now the dawn releases me into a dewdrop’s kiss
A single sunrise lifted me into a world of bliss

What makes this morning wonderful? What sets this dawn apart?
It was your poem, your lovely poem, that truly touched my heart

It has been my pleasure!  lol Forgive me, I couldn't resist that!

I understand exactly what you mean--and for me, YOU are such a poet!

You have beautifully expressed what I also feel--and I thank you, Dear Poetess!

Have a glorious day! You deserve it!

Loves 'n hugs,
Linda

Yes, Elizabeth -
a bit of poetry at morning, noon and night,
leaves the reader in sync, in rhythm, and in light...

Thank you for all that you have given us!

Bless you sweet friend, but it's you who touch our hearts deeply and not only by your wonderful poems but by the way of being you.

I have such good memories from the time I stayed in your house Liz, you gave me so much warmth and a feeling of being welcome and I'll never forget your hugs.

Wish we didn't live that far apart.

Be well my dear friend and keep those beautiful poems coming.

Titia

"My pillow is life’s bosom where I lean my heart to weep

That just hit me really hard.. for some reason..
I have a whole new appreciation for my bed.
