I am new to the forums and thought i would post one of my poems.

A touch never felt

There i stand, waiting to feel
a touch, a kiss
a caress from your hand

waiting to hear, a compliment
an i love you or some sweet words

waiting to feel you wrap your arms
around me in a loving embrace
a hug, to be held in your arms

but here i still stand
waiting
for a touch that never comes

A touch never felt
words that have not been spoken
in awhile

Needing to feel your arms around me
needing that loving embrace
the words to be spoken that i long to hear

But as i feel nothing but the cold wind
no gentle caress from your hand
no sweet words or compliment from your mouth

Will that touch come
will i hear those sweet word
i now know, that im standing here
waiting
for a touch from you
that i may never feel again

A touch from you that i long to feel
but might never feel again.
