Stitch by stitch
I watched the needle
passing through time,
curtained to hide the truth in me,
waiting to be hung
in a world of illusion,
a Renaissance, whose
style
becomes me.

Hi Liz. Actually I have been sewing curtains for the last week for a booth at the Renaissance Faire...so it is not only metaphor...but truth

Thank you

Thank you Nancy *s

It's the way I like to see myself...even if dark and unsmiling.
