We speak from the distance
of our boundries.

With words that only carry
so far.

Perhaps we never hear beyond
their mere reflection?

So we draw the echos close.

And listen...as if they were
a whisper.

Imagining we weren't so
far away.

Whoever youre whispering to...your moca perhaps? She can hear you, not in sound, but in soul.

Dear Gem,
We whisper always to our "deeper selves"...no matter the outer form it takes.
Sometimes my soul hears me best through whispered words to Moca. And sometimes through the eyes of a stranger.
And sometimes Gem...quiet often...through your beautiful words.

Love,
Eric

Eric, this is so true when I'm apart
from my Honey-love. A very good poem.

Beautiful, Eric! You surely know how to shorten the distances ...
Echoes whispering while travelling at light-speed!
I love you, Margherita

Instead of highlighting your entire poem,
I will just say that you make me believe
that there is magic in words, even from a distance.

I really loved this!!!

Enough, yet not too much. This is the type of poetry that makes the reader think beyond the words in a near transcendence.

Very nicely done.
