funny though,
that I must say this:

playing minesweeper are hearts
treading in small steps
laden with caution
yet trying to be
as light-footed as possible
for all it takes is one block
in this happy world
where would be placed
a devious mine
that blasts the heart
inside-out

after all,
kiss and tell
is a gamble with
large risks
and small dividends

yet
ironic it is
that most hearts are
willing to
play fire
with
fire

~

This write...a slow burn in my mind that will remain as a lesson of irony.

Thanks for this.

I have played minesweeper on the computer and I can appreciate the comparison!

Oooh! This struck me as really creative, lol. Love the comparison, as I've also played minesweeper

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.

I think this changes some with age and finally one realizes that sometimes your heart doesn't exactly give you the right answer.  Nice to read you again Sudhir.
