Images from screen so small young child, I cry for us be it religion, or culture which caused you this pain I turn my back upon it time again Woman, without voice, consent forced by another, blood relation do your screams not echo through your mothers mind child, woman, survivor, they do mine. I could scream along the streets for you this minute, this hour, this life mutilation of sexuality as she who loves you chooses marriage and what do you have left when such choices are not your own? Child, no holy religion, nor life practice should base beliefs upon this, fools appauled am I, sweet thing, cry not fight the cloudy rules of such disrespect child bearer, you are woman, not meat. Instant karma's gonna get you. |

http://www.channel4.com/health/microsites/D/day_never_forget/index.html it was a programme on tv, about female circumcision..in which country I'm not sure.oh, I cried, wanted to hit things. the poor children, went through so much, one thing can have such repercussions, death, disease, physical and mental pain. proper surgical procedure it was not. held down being yelled at to shut up, yes. If you'd have watched it, it was heartbreaking and barbaric. and all for what? Instant karma's gonna get you. |
