lost within
enchantment
gazing deep
within the future
my soul
ten paces behind
running backwards
within
a tangled web
of the past
Arthur
I am forever cursed...
without your love
who am I...
I once was
your Gwenhwyfar
Now...
I am plagued
fruitless in my desire
meandering
aimlessly
amongst the Isle of Avalon
caught somewhere in between
the mists
and
the past
Arthur, who am I...
for no longer do
I feel as if
I am still your
Gwenhwyfar

Boy, a guy has got to be pretty good to be the definition of someone else.
I fear I'd fail that test.

Hope the mists clear for you . . .

Beautifully done. I like the description intermixed with the monologue.

Kris, just today I was at the library
searching for history - you inspired
me to read of this and what you
have written . . . is absolute perfection.
Her despair, pain and utter search for destiny gone astray is beauty . . .
through your words, she breathes . . .
still
I adore this, you are an astounding writer
