Snuggle The Soul

I sit in the silence of my thoughts
where reluctance has expired
reaching out
trying to recapture
those hours lost
in a name behind words.

I have been disguised too long,
betrayed once too often
but still, I have rainbow eyes
colored in memory...
wanting something more

The blues deepest when
in your presence, eye to eye ...
the greens answered
by lips silencing their questions,
the grays blending
with the starry night
lost on you and the power
of the feel.

It is with intent
and purpose to hang my words
in the window of the mind,
watching them slowly
as they evaporate
on the other side of green~~

M

Awesome lines.
This was thoroughly enjoyed.

oooh....

and I know this is unasked for advice, but I loved this one so much?

especially?

ESPECIALLY the last line--

oh I will think of this one always as:

"on the other side of green..."

smile.

summed it up nicely, and STILL left possibilities...

brava, lady.

"but still, I have rainbow eyes
colored in memory"...--I especially enjoyed those lines.

Oh, those misty watercolor memories!

P.S. Like your new photo! It has a mysterious look to it!

"Bold as Love"

he describes his soul in colors

Sue, thank you. Nice to catch you here

M

Lori,
basically  it's the colors in my eyes...
and how I see the world.
hugs
M

Bernie,
thank you, always a pleasure
to see you respond.

Ringo ..some lines are true
to life, therefore
easy to come by.

Nice to see you,
thanks
M

Michele, yup darkness too...can't get anything passed you can I?
Yes and the return of the dark photo..just me being me and returning to myself the way I was and intend to be.

You cause a smile, Karen with your "oooh...."
summed up...feelings and possibilities and you are probably reading me just as it was meant.

Linda,  hazel eyes can see very colorfully, especially between the lines.

New Photo/old look...me going backwards in time and looks to when I was  happier..takes some time and some working out..but it is worth it.

littlewing, I am  very poor on songs and titles..I probably wouldn't remember it. But love the idea of describing  a soul
in colors.
Thank you

hugs all
M
