Nausea
bait to my breathless sob
why do I reference
when you are no longer here?

Marking the pages of my progress
senseless motion
the moral to my story
is backwards

bookmarked

These pages are worn
and have been lived before
I know

the same

as everybody else

Like night sky
unable to understand
how we came to be here

Placing you and I
as newest mystery
of untamed black expanse

Why am I still reading
past eye strain
burying tear stained cheek
missing you beyond magnification

Closer
the stars seem
than me
to you
.
.
.

Instant karma's gonna get you.

I missed you Gem!!

This is me, so me..
Why is it that we are worlds apart but
seem to be living the same ordeal?

Love it.

"Closer

than me
to you"

You ever know, in your heart, that something shouldn't be, but you still want to take your chances?  Those lines reminded me of feeling that way...

I loved this piece.
