Linda,

So nice to see a Senryu on a Sunday morning.  The last line is especially evocative--"beaming"... makes me think that this is his first game.

Thank you,

(jumps up and down in joy) Yay!!! (kiss on cheek) Oh Linda, I just love it when the little ones always make that special play in sports, sweet friend, I remember when Titia was telling us about her daughter (I think it was her daughter, maybe her niece) being in a big softball tournament and I was so happy to hear that and she should feel so proud! (kiss on cheek) When I was a little boy, I did track and field and soccer, I never was that good but just was happy doing something for fun! (smiles) I would much rather see little kids play and play just to have fun than see the Yankees or other professional baseball teams play for bags of money, this gorgeous poem shows why sports is special, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

That little emoticon is adorable!

Sure, I'll take you out to a ball game! I'll bring some peanuts and Crackle Jack!--and we won't care if we ever come back!

Well, girl, this just screams of memories of days gone by. How I miss the days when my boys played baseball -- from t-ball to college ball. One in the outfield, the other on his knees, catching. The hours we sat at fields, despite the mosquitoes, were some of the best times with our boys.

And in the Fall, it was football!

How I miss those times .... thanks for the tears of memories!  Marti

Marti ~

Sorry to be so late getting back to you! I think it is wonderful when parents have their children in sports. It builds their self-esteem, their bodies and minds--and keeps them out of trouble!

Like yourself, I had my daughters involved in everything under the sun! They had lessons upon lessons from the time they were three onward! Swimming, gymnastics, skiing, tennis, dancing, horse-back riding (English & Western!)...and they both went through all the ranks of Brownies, Girl Guides...

Whew! Lots of money and lots of time--and every bit of it was worth it ten times over!

I'm happy that you have all those wonderful memories! I treasure mine!

Luvvums,
Linda
