Pipeline

Sitting in a club
when my friend
Kelly Kim walks in.
She slides into my
booth asking me
where I've been.
Around I say.
Slow music
begins to play.
Kelly wants to dance
the night away.
She pulls me close.
I feel her face
against my cheek.
Her silky hair
soft and sleek.
I pull her closer
where our lips
can meet.
