We are born from togetherness
into an abyss of loneliness
we live alone with the longing
to join with the oneness of another.

We yearn in darkness to sing
a soft and gentle song of life
to someone near;
to bring light with a whisper
the softly spoken words of love
for only one to hear;

so, hold tightly to your friend,
and take her into bed with you,
creating there,
with peace and love,
the sharing of infinity.

Friends are hard to come by,  that's for sure.
This is a beautiful piece of poetry and you are a wise man icebox.  Thank you~
