My son showed me a picture
of santa claus
"Daddy is this god?"
I laughed to myself
but the question
troubled me
My head was buzzing
why was he asking
Did I know?
Who was this god
was he the one
who at one time
slaughterd uncountable heathens
whose blood stained the rivers
crimson
or later was nailed to tree
for those
who betrayed him
and later
killed
lied
and fornicated
all in his name
or the twisted calvanistic
dogma
that damns millions
before birth
looking down at his innocent smile
patted his head
"yes son I'm sure it is"
knowing one lie is the same
as the other

and I just got a smile from reading a quote by Yasser Arafat:

"You're basically killing each other to see who's got the better imaginary friend."

Enjoyed, Brad.

I'd better duck and run, before those stones start flying again.
