Closed are the eyes of the day
Bedded are the cherish woes
Smell of cajeta - engulfing - yet unreal
Strokes - plenty for this maddening mane
Release - all logical nonsense
The views are distorted right now
Faces seem wider
Voices are ghostlike
Rife are poets in aged garbs
Travel is long - all steps are betraying
Home - is the goal on such a night
Advice here - brilliantly executed but useless
Wake now dear poet - it's the usual dream

I have only my genius to declare!
