~*~

I am unsure what it's all about
the rum or the wine
mixed with feeling.
Combined with the swing,
changing the mood
squeezing a twist in the twilight.
Like goldenrod bends in the sway
or a kiss that lingers at sunset
rocking back and forth in slow motion
where my heart wants to stay
and play favorites.

I'm glad you both stopped by to share the romance.
It's not all that, but it could be!

Thanks so much, Julie and Maree~

(Psssttt..rum and coke with a twist of lime
was my favorite drink foryears.......
until I quit drinking. I liked it so much that I still think
of it sometimes after 20 years.)

Ummm...Am I the only one took it as you were playing favorites with the rum, and the wine?  Or was that whine whatever it was, soon numbness would set in and you would forget your blues, bluesy.  Nice write though, but I suggest milk and cookies.

Do rum and wine mix...this reminds me of when I was a young man in the Army in Europe and one evening in the bars I mixed almost every drink possible...later in the cab when the driver pulled off a little too fast...it took its toll.  James

Bluesy,

Beautiful...

Doesn't playing favorites imply a choice?

Okay I will stop thinking too much...I feel a write coming on..

Love the new picture!!!

like the caribbean flavor to it all,
