On the third day the fighting had finally stopped.

The victors returned to higher ground,

The fallen banished Hell-bound.

Awaiting them was chaos and pandemonium.

The vanquished arrived in total despair,

Now they are to live their nightmare.

Once, their name had envisaged awe and beauty.

Now they are shadows of their former self,

Redemption, no longer an option for thyself.

I really enjoyed this, well written. Nice flow and imagery. Very similar to the way a musician friend of mine works.
