Oh why can't you just come back
Give me one more chance
But I don't even see
Or talk to you anymore

I drown my sorrow
In alcohol now
And nobody can save
My soul now

I have fallen off the deep end
Nobody to grab me up
Nobody around even to help

So I sit and drink
My life away
Oh the sorrow

Cold hands means a warm heart

Oh dear no.  I hope write wasn't inspired by your life or your truth.  And if so, I hope things get better.  Alcoholism isn't the way to go.  I know from a sort or experience.  All the same, good write, good feeling!

Julie, you cannot drink away your sorrows. I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling sad and lonely, but drinking can only add to your pain in the long run. You are a sensitive and loving person, and you feel deeply, but you have experienced despair before, and in time you overcame it---and you will this time as well. Have faith, Dear One.

Warm, healing hugs,
Linda

filled with despair and melancholy...I too hope it isn't what you yourself are going through...but there is help, there truly is, reach, believing

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Aww Julie don't do that, it won't change anything.   It's safe to say everyone has been burned at least once....in the end, we're the only ones who can save ourself.

I hope you feel better soon.
Chin up gal!!!
