Pseudopsalm

I had the gift of wisdom
Revered and held high
My mind was a shining pearl
Gleaming among the coal
But now its lustre is dull
My most prided part is gone
Now they who take strength in my council have follied
Those who trust in my wisdom are blind
The empire has collapsed
Has become but a small town
To be raided and plundered
By the cities it once ruled

Eminor...now this poem...
speaks so well...

"I had..."

I had the innocence...

I had the truth....

I had the chance...

~*~

perhaps not where you wanted this poem to go?  BUT... you did raise some good thoughts here....

This is very interesting.

Cold hands means a warm heart
