Ladybug, Ladybug,
you lie there so still,
outside my window,
on the edge of the sill.
Your small wings are broken,
you look rather ill,
I'll mend them with cobwebs,
and send you no bill.
Dewdrops I'll gather,
beyond yonder hill,
where wee folks are singing,
in sweet fairy trill.
I'll mix you a potion,
from crushed elfin pill,
you'll come back to life
with this spritely swill.
I'll feed your sick tummy,
with fresh garden dill,
eat as much as you like,
and nibble your fill.
When feeling better,
you'll fly to near mill,
rejoining your friends,
in mutual thrill.
Alas, my dear Ladybug,
If you remain ill,
May I suggest,
You make out your will?

Now there you go...I offered to read something I wrote to my daughter...of course, she passed. I offered to read to her a verse EA wrote...uh-huh...you guessed it!  She loves you, EA.  And this one is so cute and sweet...Ya Gotta Luv It!

We are indeed an EA family!

Linda - when ladybug makes out that will, send it my way please.

Lady bug, lady bug,
fly away,
I'll see you once again,
another day...

Patricia ~

Your reply was so touching that I have saved it to my keepsake treasure folder of special replies and poems that I have received!

Thank you!

Sending Chelsea great big hugs!--and keep one for yourself--and for Macy as well!

Yes, they most definitely are worthy!  Afterall, they are far more "lady" than "bug".

Actually, Dear Bill, I was hoping that I could aid in her full recovery and therefore she would have no need to make out a will! However, if she takes an unexpected turn for the worse, I'll put a good word in for you!

A fabulous little kiddie thinggie gal...with a "Toerag" twist at the ending...this is superb little lady...

Little Miss Muffet
Sat on a tuffet
Eating her curds and whey
There came a big spider
He sat down beside her
She sprayed his ass with Raid.

Mary had a little lamb
But now the lamb is dead
Now Mary takes the lamb to school
Between two slabs of bread.

The bee is such a busy soul
He has no time for birth control
That is why in times like these
there are so many "Son's of B's"

But your's is so much 'more' better...
I liked this one gal...good write.

EA,
love the colour in this even if the colour is green.

As you know, I absolutely adore writing songs and poetry for children!

--Yes, the "Toerag" tango, I mean "twist" at the end! It seems you're rubbing off on me!

Loves 'n hugs 'n smilie faces,
Linda

P.S. Your poems are incredibly cute--but of course they are!--when I consider the source!

You should know by now that you cannot tell an angel by the color of her wings!
