Reciprocity My disbelief My shock My grief When you cast my love away I gave I begged But you instead Chose to break my heart this day But why I cry As I slowly die Did you run away from me Was it something I said? Or the tears that I shed? That made you want to go... Did I ask for too much? Yearn too hard for your touch? Or was it that I missed you so? My hurt So deep Beyond belief The emptiness inside My pretty face A sad disgrace As you left me there to hide I turn to go But I still know That someday soon you’ll see... That love so true Is a part of you Even when you’re away from me You’ll remember, I’ll never forget. |
