Dance Lady...

Through sunflower flecked horizons
To the edge of ripe grained field
With the vista only slightly smaller
Than the whole of understanding

Buffalo traces
Rock Post country
Hardships where the wind blew
In such unceasing fury
Madness followed

Wrap your heart round the days
Heat passed in sweat
And nights of star bloom

Dance lady…
As only those who see the ghosts
Of long settled dust can sway
To the music of something still in ether
Others….

Others only play

Prairie grows well on your fertile mind
Waltz for us Lady

Teach us to keep time

The ghosts of past
haunt me still
but dance
I must
or reside in chill

I was going to say this is one of your best Cpat, but they all are.

The visuals are as beautiful as your message.

Take your bows Sir!

Ron, she does dance beautifully...always in time, now doesn't she?  You captured the Spirit of Sunshine in this lovely writing.  I am smiling so large at you, my friend.

Just love it!

"Buffalo traces"......"nights of star bloom". Wonderful sound and description, as usual. Bob

Now you know
I'm smiling...

and with this,
validated that some
of the more "timely" pieces
ARE understood
for all of the right reasons.

Thank you, Cap'n!

Miss you and your work.
I just don't get around this house the way I used to.

Dear John,
IF YOU'RE TIRED OF PRETENDING..
THEN WHY DID YOU GO BACK INTO HIDING?
