~>o<~
There is something deep within me
that is called my inner space
That longs to be with you, my Love
to look upon your face

When the distance between us
becomes to be all these miles
The longing to see you, my sweet Love
turns into the worse of trials

From my eye is formed
a tear to crystalize
Then within my heart
I suddenly come to realize

No matter the distance between
always here with me you will be
If only I will but closely look
you there I will surely see

For the quiet of the night
when I look up to a star
I feel your presence in them nearby
for near me you always are

In the sunset I see
with colors vibrant across the sky
Within I can see our love
with such beauty with joy I cry

Or when a gentle wind blows by
and brushes against the trees
Right there I seem to hear your voice
in soft whispers of a breeze

Yes, no matter the distance between
always here with me you will be
If only I will but closely look
you there I will surely see
~>o<~

Thank you, Chris. Gary loves my poems. He knows
that all my love poems are written to him from my heart,
and that makes him feel really good. He is my greatest
encouragement. I tell him that I think he is kind
of prejudice in my favor, though. LOL

Thanks, my friend.
Hugs and love

You just brightened a wistful morning....and beautified my library.

I needed exactly this, exactly now.
