The computer is acting screwy
Something here ain't right
Why is I can't copy and paste
And e-mails I can't create

I try to send an e-meil
But it's saying
The memory is almost gone
Something is screwy here
I don't know what is going on

So I go to the taskmaster
And find something I never saw before
A file called msblast.exe
This must be what is causing
Everything to go wrong

I delete the file
And search for a patch
Next thing I do is
Download the patch real fast

Now my computer
Is healed

Cold hands means a warm heart

lol, how true to real life. I like how you're able to form poetry out of ordinary, everyday things.

Ooh, not you too! I have avoided that virus, but you're not the only friend of mine who hasn't -- one had to take her computer to a shop with it, because her computer wouldn't stay up long enough to find it. Bad stuff!

Yep, that thing caught lots of us around here Monday....

Looks like people could find better things to do with their time, doesn't it?

One of my computer whiz friends who works with computers with the school board, keeps telling us it's  NOT  a virus, but a "worm". What's the difference, pray tell?

Well, I hope mine's gone, since I've worked on it for two days...the first day not knowing what it was. It takes a lot of time to scan and repair, doesn't it...and I'm very impatient sometimes. LOL
Glad you got yours fixed, too, Julie.

Yep, Julie, a timely poem.  Dang worm found me, too, at the home computer.  But some reports are now regarding it as "half a worm" because it was sloppy in its execution.  The good/bad news is - too many of us got hit [that's the good news...] the bad news is - it's going to open the door to more "virulent" worms [or viruses] down the road...
