Once I lost myself in someone I knew
I gave him a love with such fortitude
And now all my rose petals lay bestrew
So I lied and I cried in solitude
Missing so deeply my past paramour
I sat in a vast, lonley depression
I thought of him oftem missing him more
Keeping a secret my one confession
Finally I realized when days grew long
When my cheeks were wet from the tears that I shed
That I will survive and life will go on
My life is a book with much left unread
I gather my rose petals once besrown
And take to my heart how much I have grown

Yes, and why do we desire to be with someone that doesn't share our desires...James

You're good at just about everything, TS! Don't get too good at that "lying and crying in solitude" business though -- it'll haunt ya....do I ever know it!

I tale of unrequitted love. A sense of emptiness oozes in the atmosphere. Then after reflecting ,your life has become resurrected. A great piece.
