Peach sticky sweet meets my tongue divided and foriegn taste. Once you get to the center of things that's when you realize how great they really are. I've learned so much most of which I chose not to remember.. I even let you name my scars. Though it hurts to bland the memory even taste now won't suffice They call it innocent 'till proven guilty..well, you've shown me proof enough. And have you not realized the importance of my fingers wrapped up pen? Or shall I explain, show you the contrast over and over again? Now, you understand why I am calliced and confused.. Blatent and hungry.. the taste must not be misused. |

Meaghan, I really liked your poem... like I do all of the ones you write.  Hugs  Ethel (Psssttt...just a little note to you, sweetie. I honestly don't think anyone is intimidated. It just has to do with the times we post our poems sometimes and how many people are posting at the same time. Sometimes early in the morning there may only be a couple of people on the forums, but by the time they read and bump some of the poems back to the top, some of the other poems are pushed way down the page...or onto another page. Anyway, don't take it personally. By the amount and quality of your responses here, you are very well liked, my friend!! By the way, the poem I posted yesterday is on page two or three with only two replies, the last I noticed. So, please don't get discouraged and just keep on posting and reading. I love reading your poetry and do when I see it. Just thought I'd tell you that, little lady....you are a very good writer, but best of all, you write from your heart!!! ) Love ya  Ethel |
