Raven’s Song

in the
matter of
my need
I am not
crazy
yet, could be
fashionably insane
with feeble words
caught on pages
where a flight
of wings
from pen
land
flocking illusions
of scattered
thoughts from
a heart
waiting in
tender sorrow
pine breath
falls from
tree tops
ebony glossed
as the raven
cries shrill
into the night
finding broken
echoes in
coal blackness
another night
flight ended
fettered by
heavy heart

"I am living a life, i have no wish to live. How did this happen?" Unknown

The Raven can warn you of danger, even danger from your self.

Strong images well written.  Thank you for sharing.

Helen, I'm sending it back for another round. Okay, Raph? Sorry, but some of them get pushed down really fast. Who's know why, unless it's the enormous amount ofm posting.
It can get disheartening, sometimes, I know. Some of mine in here have only 2 replies, but I knoiw that it's because of the time that I post them.

Just know, Helen, that I love your poetry.

Fashionably insane is the only way to live, and combined with your signature Helen, gives me an idea it is time for a change?  Strong writing on a very intense subject.

Helen . . .
I havent been in lately but fell upon this beauty . . .

feeble words
caught on pages
where a flight
of wings
from pen
land
flocking illusions
of scattered
thoughts from
a heart

It melted right off of the screen onto my desk . . .
